We are particularly interested in candidates with a health sciences background and interest in gender and health. We are looking for candidates who possess strong quantitative and written communication skills. We have 1 PhD and 2 MSc positions available for Fall 2026 for the following set of projects:
PhD: Assess the impact of changes in different social ties (gains, losses, persistent absence) on the risk of diabetes-related heart disease, stroke and kidney disease in women and in men.
MSc 1: Quantify the impact of changes in different social ties (gains, losses, persistent absence) on the risk of developing diabetes in women and in men.
MSc 2: Assess the impact of changes in different social ties (gains, losses, persistent absence) on the risk of diabetes-related cognitive impairment and decline in women and in men.
